Language is one of the most essential sciences in understanding the Quran and Hadith and their jurisprudence. This has resulted in an inseparable connection between Arabic sciences and Sharia sciences, including jurisprudence. This was clearly evident in Abu al-Hasan Al-Muqri’, in his book " msayl alfiqh alaty tarjie 'iilaa alearabiati " as he predates Al-Isnawi . The research problem was formed, which is to clarify this integration and precedence. It aims to shed light on his cognitive integration between syntax and jurisprudence, both in theory and application, through his discussion of particles and nouns (ila, ma‘a, thumma), adopting the descriptive method as the study approach.
The research was presented in three sections, concluding with several results, including that the jurist's knowledge of Arabic syntax is indispensable; accordingly, (Al-Muqri’) first sought to establish a concise theoretical foundation for the linguistic indicator under consideration, then followed it with an application that suggests there is an integration between syntax and jurisprudence, clarifying what is grammatically incorrect. It became clear that jurists have their own conceptual system, whose philosophy is inseparable from Arabic, as seen in their use of the term (verb noun) for the (verbal noun) when it follows the preposition (ili), due to its indication of the event (action). And he would present the viewpoint of each party, explaining the reason behind what they held. He did not fail to point out the grammatical counterparts of the grammatical indicator, clarifying the linguistic differences and their impact on the jurisprudential ruling.
