This article aims to highlight the vital importance of the language used in medicine, particularly from a terminological perspective. It also seeks to foster cooperation between clinical practitioners and linguists—specifically applied linguists—within an interdisciplinary framework. The goal is to enrich the medical field with terminology that minimizes medical errors resulting from communication breakdowns, ensuring that these practical challenges serve as the fundamental starting point for scientific research in both theory and practice.
